​I grew up in the Swedish countryside, often barefoot in the forest and happiest by the water. Summers were for sailing, winters for creating - knitting, painting, and finding beauty in small, ordinary things. That part of me never left.

After 15 years in the U.S., I still carry my roots with me - the simplicity, the calm, and the appreciation for what’s real. I live in Colorado with my husband, our two wild boys, and a chocolate lab who thinks he’s one of them.

I started photography because my memory isn’t the best (thank you, multiple sclerosis), and I didn’t want to forget what it felt like to have little ones. The way they smelled after a bath. The weight of their sleepy heads. The ordinary days that become the stories of our lives.

Over time, that purpose became something much bigger…creating photos that feel like memories. Images that your children will one day look at and say, “That’s what it felt like to be loved.”

I believe in fairness, equality, and giving back. A portion of every session goes toward causes close to my heart - from UNICEF to Planned Parenthood to Doctors Without Borders - because photography is about connection, and connection is universal.
